my music history-journal one

When I was younger, I participated in my churches children's choir for about 8 years from ages 3-11. We practiced once a week and sang at most church serivces as well as singing and acting in our church plays. During elementary school I started to play the piano, which I loved to play. I had recitals every few months which I loved to play at. I played piano into middle school until I started to get into more sports, but I do wish I had kept up with the piano because I loved to play it so much. I still play everyone and a while when I am home and have my piano. Also in elemenatry school I started in the school band, playing the clarinet. I played into middle school with the marching band and doing parades, but I stopped after 7th grade. I also was in choir during middle school for about two years. Today most of my music anything comes from my IPOD or my radio, because I love listening to music. It always puts me into a good mood and it's always there to listen to and keeps my occupied when walking to class or driving around. I always update my IPOD with new songs because whenever I hear a new song on the radio, I go download and upload it to my IPOD.
Today's class was very interesting to say the least. It is always a little bit uncomfortalbe to be singing in front of people to let our guards down. But the song we learned today in class was definatly a different way to learn everyone's name. This was a good way for me because I do get bored doing the same name games for every class, every semester. It does get tiring, so a new fun way to learn names keeps it's fresh and interesting. I feel like everyone in class was very open to the new ways and methods of this class because it's not everyday in a college course do you get to come to class and dance around and sing, unless that's your major. I am excited to see Wednesday the rhymes everyone comes up with for their names.
